CDL A Drivers – Raleigh
Class A CDL Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a heavy commercial truck. Driver is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with DOT and the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes driver vehicle condition reports (“DVIR”) on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.

Scrap Metal Operations Manager – Fayetteville
Wall Recycling is looking for a Scrap Metal Operations Manager for our Fayetteville location. This is not a desk position. This position requires a hands-on approach in the yard daily in all types of weather.
Job Description
- Manages daily operations
- Motivate, train, and develop a productive cohesive team
- Promote safe, clean, efficient working environment
- Achieve production targets for volume processed material recovery and quality
- Direct plant workers to perform work duties. Train new staff as needed
- Oversee operations of the facility; included but not limited to, all employees in all departments (ferrous, non-ferrous, processing, and administrative), all operational aspects and decisions within the yard consistent with annual and monthly performance goals
- Continual measurement and improvement of the company’s processes and equipment
- Assigns work schedules for employees under direct supervision in order to run efficiently at optimal production rates, with minimal overtime
- Project management \ installation \ testing of new equipment
- Schedule repairs and preventative maintenance on company equipment
- On an emergency basis, take over the responsibility of the operation of equipment, loaders, cranes, and forklifts as needed

Scrap Metal Buyer – Fayetteville
Wall Recycling is seeking an experienced Scrap Metal Buyer for our Fayetteville location to help maintain and develop the profitable growth of ferrous and non-ferrous accounts through effective daily procurement of quality scrap. This position requires detailed management and ownership of the process from point of purchase to control of delivery/scrap receipts to managing freight costs and resolving any downgrades while managing supplier/company relations.
Job Description
• Purchase scrap metal materials in accordance with current market conditions based upon pricing standards/models established by senior management
• Full responsibility of internal and external customer service relating to ferrous or non-ferrous business under their oversight
• Communication and coordination of scrap purchasing deliverables in the Region as would be routinely required by Facility/Yard Managers, Transportation and Accounting
• Visit existing customers on a regular basis – addressing quality issues, company expectations and credit exposure. Maintain customer database records
• Supplier based diversification- Expand existing customer supply base for increased market share across varied commodities while developing new supplier relationships for future profitable growth and expansion
• Possess and demonstrate analytical skills to conduct analysis to ensure sound decision making. Constantly working to improve the processes and/or profitability of the accounts

Fleet Manager – Raleigh
We are seeking a Fleet Manager to help with the day-to-day needs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fleet Manager is responsible for supervising a maintenance shop that is under the umbrella responsibility of the General Manager. The responsibilities include supervising a technician (mechanic) team responsible for preventive maintenance/repair of a fleet; machinery, and other heavy equipment are performed in compliance with Company safety and compliance standards, and with all federal and state regulations. This position is also responsible for planning and scheduling repair work for the work group to ensure that all work is done in a safe and timely manner, reducing lost productivity.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor operational performance and efficiency and take action to redirect activities appropriately
- Report to management on performance; make recommendations for process/programmatic changes for improvement or efficiencies
- Supervise technicians in maintenance shop, including such responsibilities as fleet walks – conducting Quality Control Inspections
- Track issues and resolution to ensure all work is properly completed in accordance with Company’s safety and compliance procedures and federal and state regulations
- Oversee repair diagnostics on more complex matters and provide coaching, where necessary; may be required to road test vehicles to determine necessary repairs
- Review and approve expenses that are within scope of approval level; refer larger expenses or major repairs to management
- Maintain general knowledge of diesel engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic and electrical systems to perform advanced preventive and repair maintenance functions on heavy equipment and vehicles used by Company
- Onsite and on the road, responsibilities include: Engine chassis repair and maintenance, knowledge of vehicle body control systems including hydraulics and electrical systems to maintain and repair vehicles in a timely and safe manner
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems to effectively diagnose and repair complex heating and cooling systems in vehicles in a timely and safe manner
- And knowledge of welding tools to fix heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure equipment is back in an operable condition as quickly and as safely as possible
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance working on heavy truck or equipment
- 5 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician role, supervisor or other management role requiring a thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA and other federal and state regulations
- Some welding experience

Diesel Technician – Raleigh
In need of a Diesel Mechanic to perform duties that include but are not limited to PM’s, brakes, hydraulic, engine, transmission, tires, HVAC and welding repairs. Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety standard of all vehicles and heavy equipment in accordance with OSHA, DOT and our standards.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Maintains a working knowledge of the following vehicle and equipment components and systems, with the ability to perform preventative and repair maintenance functions:
- Chassis component repair and maintenance
- Refuse bodies and heavy equipment, including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; and air and hydraulic braking systems

Heavy Equipment/Crane Operator – Raleigh
Wall Recycling is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment/Crane Operator at one of our Raleigh locations.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Heavy Equipment/Crane Operator is responsible for the safe operation of equipment at a recycling facility or transfer station. Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with company policy
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment that may include but not limited to, crane, forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader, material handling
- Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean tracks or wheels on equipment, as needed
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 years prior related experience in equipment operation
- 1 year crane operation experience
- Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner
- Good follow through ability; ability to adhere to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise
- Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks
