Catch Wall Recycling at the NC State Fair!

The weather is turning cooler and it’s a great time to get outside. Even better, the North Carolina State Fair is now going on! Wall Recycling is a proud sponsor of the event and excited to be providing dumpsters throughout the fairgrounds to help keep the area clean, and we wanted to share some of what is going on at the fair.

Keeping the 2021 NC State Fair Clean

Wall Recycling is proud to be a part of this year’s state fair and the opportunity to help keep the fairgrounds a cleaner space. We are the only provider of dumpsters, so when you see one, you’ll know it’s a durable container from Wall.

Important Details About the NC State Fair

This year’s theme is “Worth the Wait” which is particularly fitting since the 2020 fair was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s being held from Thursday, Oct 14, 2021 through Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the State Fairgrounds with gates opening at 8:00 a.m. and closing at 11:00 p.m. (except weekends, when they close at midnight). While the physical address is 1025 Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh, there are multiple parking lots around the area, including a Park and Ride which shuttles you from a parking lot to the fairgrounds.

Clear Bag Policy

New for 2021, the State Fairgrounds are limiting the type of bags carried within the grounds. Clear plastic or vinyl bags are the only permitted bag without exception, though small purses or lunch bags below 6.5” x 4.5” and diaper bags are permitted after inspection.

What You Can Expect at the 2021 NC State Fair

This year is definitely working hard to make up for lost time! There is ample food, including several new vendors.

Of course, no meal is complete without deep-fried cookie dough from Kora’s Cookie Dough or banana pudding from OMG! Banana Pudding. Just remember to throw your trash away in one of the Wall Recycling dumpsters you’ll see around the fairgrounds!
