Fall Events & Activities in NC

Organizing a Fall Festival?

Don’t forget about the comfort and convenience of your visitors!

Fall is just about here and that means it’s time to welcome all of the festivals taking place. For many, this marks the return of favorite festivals that were forced to take a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With new guidelines in place, many are ready to usher in all that the season has to offer.

While you want to have plenty of food and entertainment to bring in crowds, you can’t forget about offering your visitors the comfort and convenience they need. This includes having plenty of places to get rid of their trash as well as enough places for them to use the bathroom. Nothing is worse than being at an outdoor event with minimal or inconvenient bathrooms!

Fall Festival Convenience

Porta Potty Rentals from Wall Recycling

As you plan your fall festival, you want to make sure you have enough porta potties. No one wants to spend a long time in line for the bathroom. Consider how many guests you anticipate and provide the right amount. Once you determine the number of porta potties you’ll need, you’ll want to put them in strategic locations throughout your event. You don’t want people to walk to the other end of your festival area just to use the bathroom.

You also want to consider location and proximity to areas where food is served or where there is high traffic. These spaces are a big no. Look for spaces away from food and not where people are constantly passing back and forth. Be sure that they are accessible for all guests, especially those who are handicapped. You want a location that everyone can get to easily.

Also, you want to have enough room for people to access the porta potties as well as for them to be delivered and picked up. Look for areas around your festival grounds that are spacious and flat. If possible, try to place your porta potties against a fence or structure to prevent damage from any high winds. Weather can change in an instant and you always want to be prepared.

Dumpster Rentals

NC Dumpster Rentals

Besides porta potty rentals, you also need to consider where you’re going to put all of the trash that your event is going to generate. Numerous trash cans are a must, but those cans are going to need to be emptied many times, especially if your festival is for more than one day. That’s why you want to have a dumpster on site to handle all of that trash.

A roll-off dumpster may be your best option because it’s easy and convenient. Just dump your trash cans in the dumpster for one-stop pickup once your festival is over. They are loaded onto a commercial truck where they are hauled away and emptied. You don’t have to worry about garbage overflowing around your festival space. It can all be stored in a dumpster size of your choosing that is large enough to hold all trash until your festival is over.
