Fourth of July Hour Announcements for 2022

Happy Independence Day from Wall Recycling NCWall Recycling is preparing to celebrate the Fourth of July. In honor of Independence Day, all Wall Recycling locations will be closed on Monday, July 4th. This will allow our employees and everyone in the Triangle the opportunity to enjoy the many different fireworks celebrations that are going on around the area.

If you’re not sure where to go, we have some ideas for you to enjoy the Fourth of July with your family and friends.

Fourth of July Activities in the Triangle

No matter what area you live in, the Triangle is bustling with activity. Check out these Fourth of July activities to round out your celebrations!

City of Raleigh 4th of July Fireworks Show

Raleigh will have plenty to offer at its fireworks show at Dix Park on Monday, July 4th. Gates will open at 6 p.m.when you can enjoy fireworks before the show as well as live music. There will also be games like cornhole and Giant Connect 4. The fireworks will be set off at 9:30 p.m.

Chapel Hill’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration

Chapel Hill will also be celebrating the 4th with its fireworks celebration. Fireworks in Chapel Hill are being held at Southern Community Park on Monday, July 4th. Bring your blankets and chairs to celebrate Independence Day in The Triangle. Parking opens at 7 p.m. with fireworks scheduled to start around 9 p.m.

Fireworks after Durham Bulls Game

Durham is celebrating the 4th of July with fireworks after the Durham Bulls game on July 4th. The event is scheduled to start at 6:05 with fireworks beginning around 9:15 p.m.

Children’s Independence Day Parade in Durham

Durham is also hosting a children’s event on the fourth. The Children’s Independence Day Parade kicks off at 9 a.m. at Durham Central Park. Kids can decorate bikes, trikes, wagons, and scooters before they participate in the parade. There will also be fire truck and ambulance tours. The event is free with free popsicles being handed out as well!

Independence Day Celebration at the North Carolina State Capitol in Raleigh

The Independence Day Celebration at the North Carolina State Capitol takes place on July 4th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Edenton Street. Activities include reading from the Declaration of Independence, and a wreath-laying at the George Washington monument by the Sons of the American Revolution. There will also be self-guided tours of the Capitol Building and patriotic music by the Raleigh Concert Band. Kids can also have a chance to dress up as a Revolutionary-era citizen and pie King George III.

Holly Springs July 5th Celebration

The July 5th Celebration in Holly Springs returns to Holly Springs this year. It’s being held from 6 -9:30 p.m. at Jefferson Suggs Farm at Bass Lake Park. Fireworks are set to kick off at 9:15 p.m. Admission is free!
