1. Fayetteville After Five Festival Park

  • When: Every second Friday during the summer
  • Where: Festival Park

Head down to Festival Park on Friday nights during the summer for a free concert! Gates open at 5 p.m. with acts starting around 6:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and make a night out of it. There are also some amazing food truck options so you don’t have to worry about cooking!

2. City Market at the Museum

  • When: Weekly on Saturdays
  • Where: Fayetteville History Museum
  • 325 Franklin Street

You’ll want to stop at City Market at the Museum to check out local produce and artisans. It’s a year-round open-air market that includes blended teas, handmade pottery, soaps, tye dyes, and much more. Don’t forget the music, food, and specialty coffee!

3. Come See the Trains

  • When: 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month
  • Where: Fascinate U-Children’s Museum
  • 116 Green St.
  • Fayetteville, NC

If you love trains, you don’t want to miss this awesome train exhibit. It’s the only miniature train exhibit in the Cape Fear Region. Admission is free unless you decide to play in the museum.

4. Carter Blueberry Farms

  • When: Mid-June-August
  • Where: Carter Blueberry Farms

As a family-owned and operated business for over 40 years, Carter Blueberry Farm is a fixture in Fayetteville. With 3,500 blueberry plants that are ripe for the picking, you’ll have plenty of fresh fruit to choose from when you visit. Bring your own bucket and fill it up!

5. Christmas in July Pop-Up Shop

  • When: July 24, 2022
  • 1-6 p.m
  • Where: Volta Space

If you can’t wait until December, you can check out the Christmas in July Pop-Up Shop at Volta Space. Find gifts for everyone here and enjoy a mocktail while you’re there. 6. “Grease”

If you enjoy theater, you’ll want to check out Imagine Youth Theater’s production of “Grease”. It’s in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Broadway hit.
